Berlin - International Affairs & Security Studies

Program Overview

Berlin StudentsOur Berlin - International Affairs & Security Studies Program is part of our 12 for 12 for 12 programs (12 credits for $12,000).

The city of Berlin has a fascinating geo-political history: its destruction in World War II, its hostile division in the Cold War, the fall of the Wall, the reunification of Germany, and the growth of Germany as a major cultural, economic, and political force in the 21st Century. This history and its present importance make Berlin the ideal place to study International Relations, Security Studies, Sociology, Business, and Economics, as well as Culture, Film, Art, and German Language.

Why Berlin?

Berlin was once called the heart of Europe, and it remains a significant center of European economic and cultural development. Situated between the East and West, Berlin is a mix of people from different cultures and social systems. People from all over the world have been calling Berlin home for many years. This unique mixture gives the city a kind of rough charm, which is particularly attractive to young people.
